just got home and got done getting over my flu that i caught on the airplane, and yes, i kind of disagree with this.... it depends on what you mean by open... male sex work is definitely NOT commercialized, but it is VERY easy to spot if you are at all familiar with gay bars... that is to say they aren't spread along the wall like in coahuila, but they do hang around outside and inside the gay bars looking innocent and available - ish they don't seem to have as many customers per shift (if we can even call it that?), but gravitate toward an "evening out" (partying, home/hotel, sex, shower, food) with one guy there is a lot of territoriality too... it's kind of taboo to screw someone else's playmate? i wonder if you all feel territorial too i would bet the women think you will feel that way and do their best to spare your feelings this wasn't supposed to be my welcome back post, but i just came home from bar hopping in Playas with some friends this is a nice area to meet mexicanos and mexicanas if you don't like the commercial side of things in el centro :)
