1.) My draw to the Zone is as much about the power I have as a buyer as it is to get laid. If I give up that power buy agreeing to asking price, it takes away half the thrill. I just love the idea that I am in controll because I have $100 bucks in my pocket! 2.)Call it being a Cheap Mother **** if you will, but your fast food purchase costed you an additional 9% more than it should have. Similarly the $10 more you pay on a $40 girl is 25% more! Assuming a 48K annual salary, if as a cheap mother ***** I take that 10%-25% you throw away and invest it, I've got an extra 300K in my portfolio in 20 years. 3.) My in-laws are Filipino and are the entire family is some of the most generous people I have met in my life. The family is what is important to them and any of us would give their last dollar to help out other loved ones. They are however very conscious of there spending habits and don't pay more than they need to for anything. I guess your idea of cheap is different than mine. 4.) Free markets are based on consumer awareness. I've probably already put too much econ101 into this, but if every buyer in the ZONE agreed to the asking price as you do, the market would inflate and the power shift would change from Mongers to Working girls. What fun would it be then? |
