Explorer, Let me be crystal clear about MY EXPERIENCE. Again, the first chica I was ever with in La Zona was from the US, and DID have a health card. I know because she showed me both her American passport and her Mexican health card. Given that this was back in the days of ASP (yes, before ASPT) I was following the BOT FAQ pretty much to the letter, and had una masera bring 'la chica corto con pelo de oro y blusa de azul' to my table at CC. (it was about 9:00 on a Friday, so it was still pretty dead and this kind of thing was easily accomplished; especially in the 'old days') The chica sat down, and I asked, "como estas?" Her answer came in English that she was fine, and "let's dispense with the efforts at Spanish since I'm from SD." I bought her a couple of drinks and we chatted about her life, my life (so she knew that I wasn't from SD) and really seemed to 'hit it off' pretty well. (yeah, it's an act, but...) She brought up the topic of the health card, during our conversation, and was kind of laughing at the 'testing' that go into that whole issue. (by her description, the testing isn't that rigorous) But, she wasn't that worried about it since (by what she told me) she wouldn't do anything without a condom. Looking back, it was almost as if she was giving me a 'primer' on las chicas and La Zona. As we climbed the stairs I made the comment that I couldn't believe that she was American and working in TJ. When we got to the room, she reached into her purse and pulled out a US Passport and her Health Card. She showed them both to me, and I knew that at least the Passport was very real. It was the first Health Card I'd seen, and since my Spanish was not so great at the time, I couldn't really tell what it was. (in the years since then, I've seen plenty of these Cards, and this one was the real deal) The details of her life are unimportant at this date. Suffice it to say that she was a US citizen with 'citizen rights' in Mexico as well. My first session with her was Great and I'll Always remember it, and her. I met up with her a few more times before she reached her $$$ goal, and disappeared. (after our last session, she told me that she'd not see me again, because she was quitting the business) Based on appearances, she was one of the 'lucky chicas' who got in, got her money, and got out of the business to live her life. All this is FACT, and this is at least the third time I've written about and posted about it. So, before you imply that someone is a 'liar' when they write about something on the boards, I'd ask you to take a moment to check the FACTS.
