I concur with Metalboot's evaluation of Easter. Nighttime was similar. I arrived a couple hours after he left. I spent Easter Sunday at Wild Animal Park and later that night at Wild Women Park. You guys who can go way often must have well developed necks. I who am distance-wise impaired have a sore neck. Sort of a carpal-tunnel-neck-syndrome from swinging one's head from side to side while staring at girls. Easter Sunday night turned out to be the least populated night I have ever experienced, save for Mexican National election night last year. How empty was it? I could look across the bar from any one of several (often empty) bar stools at the main bar and see the other opposite wall. Never happened to me before, at night. Hence, the much improved visibility encouraged me to overstrain my neck. At 3 AM, the crowd of gawkers standing outside the AB doors consisted of me. Just me. I usually only go once every couple of months and in this short absence, experienced for the first time the much higher price at the Cohuila Hotel, the higher chica drinks and the higher San Diego Trolley prices. Guess the PG&E power conspiracy is further reaching than I thought. I finally met the famous Brazilians at AB. Well, two of them anyway. I spotted Xena, warrior princess and her little blond sidekick holding up the bar. I picked up little blondie (did not really catch big Xena's name). Her name is Juliana (that Zhooleeyana not Hooleeyana) from Sao Paulo, Brazil. She reminds me of the actress, Mia Farrow (during her younger years), as far as body style and face. When I first spotted her and her tall companion, I suspected at first that they were American college girls who wandered off the Revolucion Ave path and stopped off at AB for a drink. I have to give Juliana good marks in most categories (friendliness, cleanliness, looks [assuming you go for the young Mia Farrow look], and sexual prowess. Weak in the dollar value as she is a hard bargainer and would not go below $60 from her opening $70 bid. I was disappointed that she would not let me photograph her. Shame. Very pretty. I currently have photos of 87% of the TJ girls I have been with. If anyone has managed to get a photo of her, please write me at alee43@juno.com. I am always looking do photo swaps with fellow mongers. Next trip will be in 2 weeks. I figure I will be over my Adelitas-neck-syndrome by then. Just in time to get a relapse. |
