RF, I couldn't find it in my Webster's either...but they are those "fighting sticks" linked with about six-inches of chain, that the martial artists twirl around and then whack guys with...I probably spelled the word incorrectly. I have a vague recollection of seeing it spelled that way from some karate magazine... Sorry for bein' such an obscurantist...but I couldn't resist. KRICO
