I'm sure you remember the Manhattan cartel getting fed up and refusing to pay their electric bill a year or more back. They rented a huge portable generator and let it hum away on the street between the bars! Well, it didn't exactly HUM, as I'm sure you can imagine. Sleeping streetside has never been easy at that hotel and I'm sure hearing that racket all night didn't help.
