I was really moved by the following line from a special post by ??? He's "un hijo de puta" (son of a whore). But then so is Mexico. The son of Cortez, the Conqueror, and Marina, la puta. She was given to Cortez as "un regalo" (a present) by one of the enemy tribes of the Aztecs. She was incredibly good at communications and became Cortez's interpreter and helped him build an alliance among the enemy tribes of the Incas. So, a true Mexican, the son of the Spanish Conquistidor and la puta, is "un hijo de puta" (the son of a whore). Regards,
