Greyhound of course. You want to catch an "express" in LA or Santa Ana. They are as fast as the train and cheaper, and you wont need the trolley. Greyhound in SY is at the end of the trolley line, walk toward the border on the opposite side as the turnstyles (past Wells Fargo and Burger King at the end of the road. There are also various buslines that cater to hispanics (LA and Santa Ana), or even Oxnard and Bakersfield and points north (migrant farm workers). May sound creepy, but if you are in Oxnard it sure beats making connections in downtown LA (where every one looks like and unemployed russian mobster now). BTW when I see these buses on the freeway (I5) they are UNCROWDED and have windows that open.
