You are correct. By experience and observation, it seems that most of the chicas at Bar Hacienda don't go to the hotel. There are exceptions, as I've noticed that some of the Hotel Najera chicas will sit in at BH for a while to rest up from standing around on the street. BUT, the hard core BH chicas, especially the strippers, are there to do the ficha thing, and nothing more (except for dancing). I have watched Mexican guys plying chicas with beer after beer, only to see the chica ultimately just go home at the end of her shift. The particular chica I went to the hotel with was rather unusual in that she had a gringa mentality, although she didn't speak English.
