i saw him on the US side on Saturday night, didnt look too good at first blush. It was somewhat eerie: i was walking on the bridge to the parking lot and saw the usual mass of young, healthy college kids, plus one old guy wheezing up a storm. I kinda thought to myself "the distinction between youth and age ..." and as i walked by him he turns and calls out my name. Well, he did manage to keep a good walking pace back to the border so i guess he was on the mend. He's had pneumonia before, so he's got some experience with it. Pneumonia is a killer once you get past a certain age. |
