Although I stayed there recently without incident the Hotel Leyva continues to have security problems. An Adelita chica told me her room was burglarized and her documents stolen while working the night shift. She was staying in one of the rooms that faces the parking lot. As much as I like the guys who work the parking lot I'm beginning to wonder if these burglaries might not inside jobs. People who work there are in the best position know when you are away.
