Redongdo, Yeah, I'm hooked on TOO many TV shows ("The Practice" being one of them!) That's why I was stoked when a bud of mine gave me TiVo for Christmas. Best fuckin' gift I ever got! I set up all the programs that I want for a pre-record season and they're done. I was in TJ last Thursday and didn't miss "Survivor". Re: The tourist thing...Hilarious story with the wheelchair! Boy, they'll do ANYTHING to get someone into a club, won't they! BTW: I was with mi familia on Thursday (total shopping excursion on the side streets around Constitucion). It seems that NO tourists go beyond Ave. Rev. and Plaza TJ. And it seems that's where the locals shop. No bullshit pressure (quite the opposite, actually- very laid back). And with a little bit of Spanish, it makes for a great experience. But once you get on Revolucion it's Tourist City. With EVERYBODY working you to come into their store ("Pasale! Pasale!") AND the strip clubs ("Bring your lady, Senor!"). She laughs, keeps a good sense of humor, but has NO desire to check it out. And I've got no problem with that. Especially since she doesn't hassle me for making an occasional trip south of the border. (She gets SOME very select, edited details when I get home!) So I gotta give that Middle America family a little credit for making the effort. What a story they'll have when they get home! "Decadent Tijuana!" "Bare nekkid Messican strip girlies!" I wonder if Grampa wanted to search for the "Donkey Show"? RoadHawg
