The Bital Bank building on Rev and Calle Segundo and the building diagonally opposite have been there since the 1920's...There's a photo of them from that era on a British website about Jelly Roll Morton ....who, amazingly, gigged frequently in Tijuana in the '30's... You might be right on the money about that, Curious...considering all the US dough that was comin' into TJ at that time... KRICO
