I do not know about regular sports bar but I usually go to Caliente for nfl in the fall. There is a new Caliente in the alley with about 16 20 inch TV but half of them on horse racing. But they will show nba, nhl and several baseball games without sound. No food stand. The best Caliente is the one in pueblo amigo in the first floor with some giants screen and a non smoking area. Unless you bet serious cash on Cubs it may be difficult to have them put the game of your choice. But do ask them as they may help you depending on their mood. The food is not that good but their chicken soup is great. Caliente puts sound only during the NFL. Some time ago, a poster mentioned a good restaurant/sportd bar in TJ but i don't remember name. Also do not forget AB which will show the NBA, probably no NHL on weekend. |
