Tijuana just doesn't have sports bars like we are use to. In Manhattan Beach we go to a bar that has over 40 televisions in it. The most I have seen in Tijuana is about three televisions in the local bars. Also if there is a soccer game you can forget about watching anything else. This weekend will be the Kentucky Derby and also the Vargas fight. Usually the Hotel Nelson on 1st and Constitution shows these events. The best viewing to me has been the Caliente Sports Book. The one in Pueblo Amigo right across from the Restaurant Gypsy is better than most for veiwing. I usually go to the Caliente on 7th because it is close to the Villa Zaragoza Hotel and that sports book is okay also. |
