This falls into the same catagory of would you rather travel alone or travel with a buddy. For me, traveling alone is a much better experience. Things will happen to you that would never happen with a buddy or buddies. Two factors (maybe more) make traveling alone a better adventure. First, a guy alone is far more approachable than two or more guys. Guaranteed, a guy sitting alone in a TJ bar will have plenty of offers and opportunities to interact with chicas. Two or three guys sitting in the same bar might sit there for hours and talk to themselves. Second, being alone is a motivator to take more initiative yourself. Who really wants to sit alone?
