After becoming re-familiarized with the "ste" conjugation, I'm seeing it all over the place. For example in one of my "Casos Reales" (REal Cases) crime Foto-Comix, two failed "stick-up" men are blaming each other for their screwed-up robbery attempt. The panel has the header: "Estaban furiosos por su fracaso como rateros y se culpaban mutuamente" ("They were furious for their failure as thieves and they blamed each other mutually.") The one says, in his "dialogue balloon": Then the other guy says: Then back to the first guy: A neat, clean little form... KRICO |
