I think this was a scam. There was the same stuff going on with "high quality" speakers. ( out of the back of a van) I've had stuff offered to me " after a trade show stuff" looking closely at the items it was evident it was just crappy power tools with lables that made them look good. reminds me of once in Vegas ( this time I was the one at a trade show), I was approched by someone asking for $5 to buy gas for his car ( he was even carrying a siphon hose). when i told him i could help him since i had my truck there, he could not "produce" his car. best one by far was in phuket, some thai teens were collecting for girl scouts. their id was their pic attached to part of a girl scout cookie box cutout (from thin mints i think). I gave them 20 thb just for their inventivness. key yai
