It depends on where you are calling. When I called San Diego numbers, it was cheaper than calling L.A., which was cheaper than calling Dallas. I don't remember the amounts, because I have been using my cell phone for such calls for about a year now. It seemed to be about the same as what it cost when I used one of the Ladatel cards, which are certainly more convenient if you are going to use a pay phone very often.
