Yes, there is a definate "me first" mentality in Mexico. It makes driving down there a hassle. But it pervades all parts of life down there, not just driving. It reminds me of a scene with The King in one of Mel Brooks' movies; One of his attendents comes running up to the King, yelling; Sire! Sire! The peasants are revolting! The King replies; YEAH! You got that right! They stink on ice!
