This suspicion of doctors is an ongoing theme in my MX comix...but I have talked with several doctors in TJ who seem quite up to date on current "scientific" knowledge and research...and medical practice... I doubt if their medical practice deviates much, statistically, from the US, where medical malpractice is the third largest killer, after coronary disease and cancer...largely caused by "mis-use" of drugs in hospitals...some 100, 000 plus per year...
