For you other folks, I just noticed a United E-fare to Amsterdam from SFO or LAX. Fare was $450 or so. Check it out if you have some time for a quick trip.

I've got the best job in the world (except maybe a bar owner in AC). My job takes me just about everywhere on the globe. When I travel international my company sends me business class. With business class fares they pay per leg, not R/T - this allows me to deviate my flights as much as my little perverted heart desires. Since I go to the Middle East several times a year I fly Delta to Amsterdam, (stay a few days) then caught a KLM flight to Bahrain or Dubai, or wherever I need to go to. In the case of the Singapore, Thailand, Philippine trip coming up: The company will fly me to Singapore, then back from BKK. I buy all the other tickets (which are "dirt-cheap"). I also get to keep all my airline miles so it's easy to accumulate them. I've flown 102,000 base miles this year so far. This translate out to 260,000 bonus miles to use anyway I want… I can't believe I actually get paid to do what I do - hey, someone has to do it! We'll talk more about it in Bangkok... hey prog, i just saw your post about your beautiful job. not sure how i missed as i check in almost every day. in any case, you are one lucky bastard.

sorry we won't be able to hook up in BKK. before i leave (in two days), i'll write up some tips with respect to the good girls i had in the various bars and massage houses. i'm sure you can handle it yourself but can't hurt to have a little info just in case.

I've mongered a couple times in amsterdam and 4 or 5 times in phuket (hard to remember exactly how many times !!!!). this trip so far as been very, very good. i haven't made a bad selection yet. i remember one trip to phuket where it took about 3 days and 6 girls before i finally found a decent one (usually the big shoes "hiding" the large ass !!!).

hope you have a great time in BKK and i'll drop another note soon with some info on the places i went. maybe you can even say hi to some of my "girlfriends" for me !!!!!!

I cancelled my Nov BKK/Phuket trip - work load got a little heavy for 8 days off.

Instead, booked a shorter trip to Amsterdam (where an 8 day stay would kill me !!!). Arriving Thurs a.m., Nov 15th. Leaving Mon a.m., Nov 19th.

Let me know if any of you boys will be in the vicinity. Would like to swap stories over a few beverages.

You probably already know this but be careful if you decide to entertain yourself with some of the Thai girls. Many are Katoeys. I saw a whole lot more of them last New Years. I did see a nice selection of Cuban girls... as you walk out of Old Sailor turn right. They were about midpoint between the two bridges (the one by Old Sailor and the other by where all the druggies hang out)... (prog)

Funny that you mention the thai gals. On my first trip to Amsterdam, I was a little hesitant in beginning my first move with the window gals. I ended up settling in with a thai gal (no katoey) to help get me started - after that it was blast off. I think I ended up with 12 different nationalities in my 8 nights on that first trip. The italian gals have been my favorite by far. I am very interested in the cuban girls - I will definitely follow up on that tip. Thanks.

writing from amsterdam. finished day 1. am going to look for your cuban gals today. i looked yesterday but couldn't find them. re-read your post today and now i have the exact directions - don't think i went past the Old Sailor. will report back if successful.

yesterday, i actually hooked up with two gals that i had enjoyed with on my trip here in Aug 2000. i couldn't believe they were still working - and in the same window also. it was a great way to start off the trip.

Will be in Amsterdam from mid-June to mid-August, 2009, but busy most of July. Weekends / odd weeknights still a possibility. Am working there and in Den Hague, on some international anti-terrorism tribunal stuff.

Haven't been overseas since 1990, so I'd welcome a knowledgeable guide. I'd also welcome a pointer to any internet guides that would help me sort out the new "gentrification" regime in the Oude Kerk region, and what the best mongering options are.

i haven't been to ams in a few years but the best alleys for attractive women are very close to the bulldog cafe mack (or maybe it is mac). from what i recall there are three bulldogs. one is a hotel. one doesn't serve booze. bulldog cafe mack serves booze. so that will tell you if you are in the right place.

I am looking to go to Colombia in Febuary 2010. I would like to go with somone that has experience in that area if you don't thats okay too
