This will be my third trip there in the past year. When in Rio I really enjoy stopping by the office to chat with the guys. I have not found such an institution in BA. If there is it would be great to have a coffee with some of the experts!

Just got back from Colombia, ready for Buenos Aires again! (4/12-23) Looking for other suave Americanos ready to audition some Portenas (for me, tetonas flaquitas or tetonas gorditas). I am fluent in broken Spanish, but I can speak well enough to get around ok. I have had great success in the past with Madahos, Platynum, Altosex, Gemidos, Clarin Clasificados, and numerous casas. Colombia is the best for non-pros, but for my (puta) money, Buenos Aires provides a reasonable price for 2 young chicas "toda la noche" or for multiple days together. That is, if you can stand going to dinner or grocery shopping with 2 beautiful young chicas, both affectionate, even competitive for your attention, and playful. Sure, you may find/get some occasional chicas fea at your door, but taxi fare and a "no gracias" with a gracious apology can cure that in 5 minutes.

Rio veteran going to BA for 1st time August 24th- Sept 3. Will slip away in the middle to ski in Bariloche. Does any one know if its snowing yet in Bariloche?? Will be staying at De Las Americas Hotel in Recoleta. Any comments on this hotel.I also have a choice of the Kempinski hotels or the NH hotels. I've stayed in the Kempinski in Budapest and the NH hotel in Barcelona and they are quite nice.

Hi.. I'm a newbe to the good life i've reading about on this board. I'm going to be in BA October 27th thru the 31st. I found a hotel at Florida and Tucuman called Frossard. I contacted them via email and They told me it was $30us / day including breakfast and tax. No additional charge if Chica does not stay the night. Anyone know of this place, is it in a decent part of town? sounds too good to be true. thanks

I don't know this hotel...but the location is in the middle of downtown...Florida is the main pedestrian mall. The Claridge hotel (5 star, overrated) is on Tucuman, near Florida too....and there is a mp on Tucuman between the Claridge and Florida. I prefer Recoleta over downtown...too noisey downtown for my tastes....and I am leary of any hotel that doesn't pop up on message boards or in guide books...The Dazzler is mentioned often (I think it is between 35- 40 a night)and the Hotel Wilton (about 35 a night) on Callao in Barrio Norte/Recoleta comes recommended.....

I am going to BA for the whole month, from Oct. 25 to Nov. 25. Of course, I may not stay in BA all the time; I'd like to travel around a bit in Argentina, may be visiting Urugway too, but I think it is better to have a home base in BA, and the rate for a month may be cheaper for an apartment. This is my first trip to Argentina. Unfortunately, I do not speak Spanish. I am 47, of good, cheerful and friendly character (I think); I love girls and partying -- like, I imagin, all of us on this site.

I can also use good advice on choosing the apartment for the month. The prices I see for ArtSuits, for example, strike me as somewhat high. I would like to stay in Recoleta area, in a nice 1-bedroom or Studio. I was hoping that 600 -- 750 USD/month would do given the weak peso; is this naive?. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Should I write to Myra (or Myrna -- I forgot) or some other real estate agent?
