I'm heading off to Moscow from October 2 - October 11. I've taken some good advice from Explorer8939 and gotten involved in the chats on www.sextalk.ru . Let me tell you, it's a gold mine. Talk about incentive to brush up on your Russian. Anyhow, I've made contact with a few local Moscow based Mongers and have even been invited to a Friday Night Banya (sauna) which appears to be the Moscow version of a Festa. There is most definitely a more affordable mongering culture beyond the ultra expensive Night Flight / Safari Lodge / Golden Dolls scene.
If there anyone who's interested in doing a little field research, let me know. It will be interesting.
