I'll be arriving Apr 2 myself. I'll post a cell number once I get into town and get a SIM card. Only going to be in town for 1 week, but I'm sure there will be plenty of barhopping going on.

Mas, just check in on ClubHombre sometime in the afternoon. I'm arriving very early Apr2, and should have my cell # posted on CH by that afternoon (in the calendar section). There are internet cafes all over AC - you can't help but stumble upon one if you walk around a while.

Just be sure your cell phone is triband and UNLOCKED. Most of the phones you get from US cell phone companies are locked so they only work on their network.

"How are the rooms and service at the Amsterdam?"

You can see pictures of the rooms in my November trip-report and on their website. My opinion is that the rooms appear to be of a higher quality then other offerings in the area and at a competitive rate. Some of the rooms have king sized beds, rugs, jacuzzis, oak tables, leather couches, etc. I believe all of them have in-room safes which is a must for obvious reasons.

The main factor for me is that its in the middle of the action. There are some bars right across the street. Now you might ask what is the difference between walking 100 feet or taking a trike to the bars versus a much shorter walk. Well, every step along that walk you will encounter every type of beggar and street vendor known to man several times over. This is a huge annoyance in my opinion so I like being in the middle of the action.

There is no pool, but when I stayed at the Orchid, I never really used the pool. I was either sleeping or having sex. Then when I was by the pool, you get a nice view of some hairy chested 60 year old doing a cannonball or are amongst a crowd of loud Australians chanting at a Rugby game.

The service is excellent, however, the women at the front are Filipino. They understand English well enough, but you have to sometimes confirm that they have understood what you are saying. The Swiss Chalet gets props for having a European answer all the emails and you get prompt answers to all your questions in clear well written English.

You wont go wrong with the Amsterdam, except I recommend not getting any of the first floor rooms. Only rooms on floors 2,3 and 4. Some of the rooms have a window that face outside and, as a result, you might hear some noise. The noise is not a loud roar, but a low din. You might not care, though, if you are pounding away at the ladies. The $35/night rooms appear to be the best deal.

As with any hotel in Angeles City, make reservations at least 2 months in advance. The hotels are always 80-100 percent full at any given time. Last minute arrangements might leave you with the worst room in the entire place or no room at all.

"How much are the barfines in Angeles on average?"

1200 pesos barfine + tip. The women consider 500 pesos to be a "good tip". (52 pesos=1 dollar currently)

This price is for all night long time, however, sometimes the women dont always stay that long. They will sometimes make excuses and run out on you. 99% of the time they will at least give you sex. Its difficult to say the percentage of time they will "run". On my trip in March, I had a few "runners". On my trip in November, I had no "runners".

There have been many philosophies put forward on how to prevent "runners", such as playing the sweet guy routine or offering up more money in hopes they will stay. Some guys believe that no strategy will prevent this occurence. You will have to feel each situation out and develop your own strategies in this regard.

"How is Angeles setup for ATM machines?"

There are many ATMs in different places all over Angeles. My cards have always worked, but Im not sure of the computer network they use so all cards may not work. Im assuming that most major bank cards will work.

Its too hard to describe where all the ATM machines are located. The best advice is to ask the hotel staff when you get there. Personally, I just take cash and hide it all over me.

I believe its riskier using an ATM machine then carrying cash on you. The reason is that this would be a likely fixed target for crooks.

Unless you don't realize AC has boatloads of cherry girls (and a first timer might not). You gotta remember to ask about THAT!

I should be in AC next Wednesday for a few days before I go to the US. Puerto Galera, well, what can I say, it's by far my favorate place in PI, but then again, having the best looking girl helps too, ha ha.

It seems like the price has risen a lot, but it only has risen slightly. You have to take into consideration the devaluation of the peso. Go to this link and it will make more sense. In the year 2000, the peso was at 40 pesos=1 dollar. Now its at 52 pesos=1 dollar

Am a newbie on this site. Aug 8th - 29.. Pi will be my main base. Bali is one stop, never been there. Been to BKK. So If You hombres are out there in that region. Drop a line. Am always up for some "PUNANI".

I an going to AC for the first time in september and looking for someone that can take some time and show me around a little .

All you need to do is check into the hotel, walk across the street and there will be plenty of women who will be glad to show you around.

When you going? I'm likely to be back there the first week of Sept. But IE is correct - check into any of the hotels recommended here (Central Park is my personal fave) and you won't be able to walk out the door without being propositioned. After sundown - just walk toward the neon lights.

Once you get there, AC really is the simplest mongering destination on the planet. Just be sure to ask if a girl is cherry or menstruating before bar fining - that's something you don't usually have to deal with in other places.

I will be in AC around Sept. 22-30. If your dates overlap shoot me a PM and we can try and hook up. AC is real easy but there are still some fun to be had off the usual obvious well beaten path.

Hehe, I always love the sweet Pinays. It's the bar and party experience that is kind of drifting away from my budget and preference. As I have said I think the talent in AC is better than I have ever seen. Plus how could I pass on the opportunity to hang with Porker. Now I won't be the cheapest guy in the bar! Plus I am probably deluding myself that I have shaken off most of the MX regulars and I will be back to the old days of running rampant through lots of new girls.


Also, I had my wingmen back out of my trip to China at the same period. So I decided to swap my Sept. AC trip for one to China. It looks like I will be doing AC and China trips on alternating months for the fall.

So it looks like AC in one the every other month rotation with China, while Jakarta remains strongly entrenched in the monthly rotation.

I'm planning a trip to AC for the new years. This will be my cherry trip and the reports here have helped me plan alot of it and even helped me make a buget of sorts. Now I'm just looking for someone to hang with while I'm there. It can get a bit boring if your just soloing the whole time. I plan on staying about 10 days and figure that it will be butt wild in AC at that time.

I've been to the PI a few other times but almost all of it spent in Cebu. There was one other thing I was interested in and thats that girl Mara. The last report that i read she was at Nifty's but had moved on so if anyone knows if she's at another bar or just left all together plz post it. I was in AC last New Years and will hopefully be there for the coming New Years as well. In any case - you need not worry - you won't find yourself alone for long in that town. As for trying to track down one specific girl...I'm betting you'll forget all about her about 15 minutes after hitting town.

Field's and Perimeter are nowhere near Lapu Lapu.
I believe that's a city on the island of Cebu not Luzon - a trike is not going to get you to AC.

If you do ever get to AC Fields is the street where the "higher class" go gos are . Perimeter is just the extension of Field's Av outside of town. All one street.

Barfines are a fixed amount of money paid to the bar and include payment to the bar and payment to the girl to compensate her and the bar for leaving work early. Anything else that happens is between two consenting adults and need not necessarily cost you any more money.

Enjoy -- but WTF is in Lapu Lapu that draws you there if you know nothing about the Phils ??
