I usually charge a beer at the first bar for my service. A shwarma at the end of the night if we end up on Fields would be a bonus as I usually stay Perimeter bound. Really, I do get bored here and meeting up with new and or old buddies is considered a treat for me. Well, I WOULD HAVE gotten lost going between my first barfine at DMZ and the Orchid Inn if my barfine hadn't led the way. Such is the danger of following your fearless leader around AC in a jetlagged-drooling daze your first day/night in town. Thank god for 90 lb. bodyguards!

i'm going to be in AC next week March 21. I was wondering how easy is it to get a room in AC on last minute notice? I just found out I have buddies that live in Manila that want to accompany me on my trip to AC. The rooms don't have to be the greatest the cheaper the better. I'm looking at 2 rooms any leads would be great.

June 4th - 18th, Im heading to the Philippines for the first time. If anyone is gonna be around in that timeframe, I'll buy ya a drink.

Seems all the newbies are going to AC these days. Make sure you dont marry the first girl you fuck like everyone else is doing lately.

Indy, you should reserve any rooms you ASAP. Most places around Fields constantly run close to full occupancy these days with many fully booked two months in advance. For cheaper and less contested rooms try out on perimeter. I have had good luck being able to get cheap ok rooms at the Sunset Garden Hotel with only one or two weeks notice. They have a good pool, decent atmosphere, and good security for around $25 a night.

Clarkton Hotel is a bit removed from the action, but they usually have rooms available. It's still a straight shot up Fields Ave - and unlike some smaller hotels, all the trike drivers know "Clarkton".

You could also check the Euro Tour - its centrally located right across from Checkpoint, phone 045-892-6913. If you stay at Euro Tour, be sure to tell the ants and mosquitos I said "hi". (At least they were well-behaved ants and mosquitos. )

thanks Mx and Phoenixguy. Transportation is another issue i have to deal with. The guys I'm hanging with are driving me and themselves up to AC so parking is going to be fun.

I have been to Cebu, and only Cebu, so far in the last year. The best gogo bars are, Black Hole, Vikings, Lone Star, and Silver Dollar then there are several others there as well, like Dimples, Sisters, Papillion. All barfines are usually under 2000php THe girls are cool.....and just make sure you tell them what you expect...all nighter, whatever...be very specific. There are other clubs around but mostly cater to the Koreans. You will know which ones they are when they tell you the barfine is 5000php.

I'll be in AC 26-30 MAR... anyone up for bar hopping? I'll post a cell phone number when I get a SIM card.

As I stated previously, I'll be in AC 26-30 MAR 07... this will be my 3rd trip to AC but I have always traveled solo. I usually stay at the Orchid Inn but if anyone has a better suggestion, I would like to hear it. Although I always have a good time (wait what am I saying, I mean a GREAT time) in AC, I think it would be even better if I could kick back and drink a few beers with a fellow monger (not sure if I have reach full monger status yet, but I am hopeful... one must have goals in life).

Ok...this is my first trip to party in Manila. I've been to the Philippines, just not Manila, and now its time. I want to hit the best places I can. So, here I am asking for more info....and what area is most preferred in Manila. I will arrive March 30th. If anyone is there, lets party.

I have been to Manila a few times but I have yet to hit the bar scene since I usually meet my girl there instead, but maybe we could explore the city hot spots together.

I use to go to Thailand, but got burned out and found Cebu...you know the story after that...lol Keep in touch and let me know where you'll be staying.....I arrive in the afternoon on that Friday. What wouldn't you wait to get a cell phone until you got to Indo? You can buy a cheap ass phone in AC that will work in Indo. And in the PI there girls for the most part have at least rudimentary english, especially compared to Indo.

Yeah Concarne, you definitely need a cell in AC IMO to coordinate w/chicas and mongers. Your head will be spinning b/c of all the sms txts. In Indonesia, for me, it's difficult to communicate w/the gals and I use it primarily to coordinate w/mongers.

You would be lost without a cell in AC. Very handy for listing the girls you want to get back to or do in the future.Mandatory for keeping in touch with other guys who might be there at the same time.

You can pick up a cheap used cell or get a new one for minimal cost at SM mall. Will work in all of SEA with the appropriate SIM card.

Concarne, over the years, I've had several Thai bought phones that worked too well in the Phils w/just a change of a SIM card. Just don't hit the factory default like I did one time :-) Remember to when you input the gals names and numbers, to put a brief description ("8+BN19y.o.gr8bbbj") next to their names to remember them. You'd be surprised how many gals have names like "precious" and "lovely".

What kind of phone do you have now???? Many (not all, but many) T-Mobile or Cingular phones can easily be unlocked to work fine in all of SE Asia.

If it's a Cingular phone also make sure it supports at least 1800mhz and preferably 900Mhz too. Some Cingular phones are 850/900/1800/1900 (works everywhere) Some are 850/1800/1900. (works un the US and most of Asia but may have lapses of coverage in a few places. Should be fine any place you would go) But some Cingular phones are 850/1900 only and wont work in Asia at all. What model do you have?

Going to AC in the next few week looking at a 23 or 24 arrival. Need to get some info and maybe find any Hombres up to showing a young Military Mongerer the site.

OK so its 2 May-14 May in AC. Looking for a hotel with 2 queen beds as my college partner in crime is in tow. I did have a question or two that I did not see on the board. What does the STD rate down there look like? Is HIV a prevelant issue? What is the dress code (ie shorts and T's/slacks)? How much P4P is too much? Ok now off to search for accomodations.

HIV is not a burning issue but there are plenty of other burning problems rampant in AC. GC and Chladymia are almost a certainty if you bareback.

Bareback is getting increasingly harder to find anyway as most of the younger more desirable girls are mush smatter than their older sisters and do not heed the Catholic Churches dogma against condoms. Better bring your own unless you are micro sized as Asian condoms are pitifully small.

Wear what you are comfortable with. Plenty of guys in shorts and T shirts 24/7. I wear shorts and a T shirt in the daytime and jeans and a collared shirt at night. Just my preference.

And hopefully they might be up for a "Chinese Finger Cuff" (stuffed from both ends). As for dress that is what I thought the answer would be. And today my friend at the gas station who still has family and property in AC is thinking of letting me use the house and the jeep for our trip. She says its in Bilabago close to the bars. Also one of my workers has family in AC and is trying to get his cousin to take us to Bataan. So looks to be an intresting adventure.

I am excited as hell. Just hope "Fantasy Island" can handle two blond haired blue eyed pasty white hard drinking dudes.

Most girls in AC are shaved now. If they have a bit of stubble they will gladly shave again for you --in my experience at least .

Anything under 35-40 would be considered young in AC . You should have the pick of the litter although more than a few of the girls like the slightly older guys over the young dudes who make them work all night . hehe

Thanks for the intel. I know the NIPA Hut as I work with some old guys who were stationed at Clark or Baggio. I also know cause my old man had us over there when I was 12ish. Many stories heard from retirees wo are married to Flips. That iswhy the adventure begins in only a few weeks.

Wow, in the PI at age 12, how many pinays did you bang at age 12 ? Must of been a rush.

There are a number of options to get to AC from Manila, a taxi for 2700 pesos is not the way to do the PI on the cheap.

What time does your flight arrive ?
Swagman hotel in Manila, about a 200 peso taxi ride from airport , has bus service to AC for 500 pesos, and they deliver you right to your AC hotel front door. I believe 3 trips daily, 11:30 am, 3:30 pm and 1 trip later , not sure of time.

You can take the local bus from Pasay Bus Terminal, about 130 pesos, once you arrive in AC then grab a trike for 50 - 100 pesos to your hotel, if you chose to go this route take the Victory Liner Bus, this is the best most comfurtable bus,

Depending on the time your flight arrives in Manila, you could spend 1 night in Manila and check-out LA Cafe then grab the Swagman Bus the next day.
