Please add Athos's report from Rio. These others are ok, but for the rookie like myself, INFO is critical and the main reason I joined this site.

I'll identify a specific report for nomination... Ootie's "Out-of-Towner Trip Report" from 12/2001.

I've read some or all of each of the five nominated reports. Excellent, excellent stuff.
Matiz' reports: "Preguntas y repuestas," and "For what its worth." Matiz' posts were humorous, insightful and warm. I especially liked the first one (P y R), for its wit, charm, nostalgia, and depth. If you are looking for details, details, details about procedures, looks, technique, language, sink cleanups, etc., this isn't it. Each of Matiz' reports is a literary tour de force, with a certain indescribable je ne sais quois. (there, I said it...). As far as I'm concerned, these are publishable literary works, and I eat this stuff up. You could read Matiz 100 years from now and still find him moving and relevant. So I'm gonna vote for P y Y.
Athos--Rio trip. Exactly opposite in style to Matiz' reports, but splendid none-the-less. Lots of details, details, details, as Athos quickly makes history by consuming many talented Brazilian 10s. Concise. Cuts to the chase. Better than a FAQ. Once you read it, yer gonna want to go, too. And if you've seen the PISS pics, you know it is all true. When I grow up, I want to be Athos.
BillfromReading--long strange trip. Melancholy descent into suffering, as Bill tragically pursues romance with a living tragedy. Exquisite masochistic pain and then more pain. I got about 1/2 way through the long, long, long, long, long, long strange trip, and may try to finish the rest. I can already tell it won't end well. The report appears to be Bill's attempt to grapple with his raw experience. Lots of readers may see themselves in this report.
Drewwho--Three's company. I haven't read too much of this yet. This seems to be a joyous romp with various Club Hombre personalities. If ya know the gang, you might find this especially interesting. I don't really know y'all, so it is a slower read for me.
Can't wait to write my own trip report someday, assuming that my recent hiatus will eventualy come to an end. I suspect that my style will be either humorous, scary or wise, depending on my mood... So watch out.

Can't seem to read the just-added Ootie report. I keep getting error messages.

First annual clubhombre critic of the year award....Dogster.
Excellent analysis! Well, except for the "je ne
sais quois" part. A little pretentious, doncha think? (pretentious= any word or words I have to look up in the dictionary).

Moi? Pretentious? Je ne sais quois is French. I should've said Je ne sais pas. What it means, I do not know. (bilingual joke there, for those of ya keeping score).
Report on the Reports II: The Dogster Review.
(hope that wasn't too pretentious, children)
I took read a little of the Ooooootie report. Ootie's long, long, long, long report (in 4 parts) is full of details about chicas and hombres, with roughly equal of bonding (with males) and banging (with females). The report contains some sage and witty gems along the way. There's certainly some interesting info for newbies.
The Matiz report just knocks my socks off. Gotta go with that one... When I have time, I'll try to write a truly pretentious, affected report on the reports.
