The nomination list is ready. $1000 has been set aside for the 2003 Third Annual Hombre Awards. Nominations and changes will be accepted through March 30, 2004. Reporters that wish to reports and/or photos entered other than those nominated, please email support@clubhombre.com before this deadline.

We've created a new category for guide-style reports. Deciding how we wanted to handle this was a bit tricky. We decided to allow regularly updated guides to qualify for this category even though their most recent updates were in 2004. Hopefully this might encourage more regularly updated guides. Guides can win an annual award only once, but may be entered in subsequent annual competitions if they have not won a previous one. Guides do not qualify for monthly or quarterly competitions beyond when they are first published.

We've also instituted a new rule regarding cash disbursements. Winners must have photo access (Hombre Plus) to collect cash disbursements. Winners that are not at this level may use their awards in the ClubHombre store or apply all or part of their award towards an upgraded membership.

Again, please note the March 30 deadline and notify us of any changes before this date.

I feel like quoting the famous Sally Field Oscar speech at the moment. Thank you all for voting. I'll be donating my winnings to MY favorite charity, the SEND PORKER TO ASIA FUND. Maybe I can get it listed in the CFC book next year?

Actually, my next trip in July will probably be my last for awhile -- at least 9 mos. Unless, of course I just say FUCK EVERYTHING and move there.
