Refresh to Blank Screen

While looking at the posts or pics, my screen suddenly goes blank and I get the following message, but I login again and I'm okay for a while longer, then it will do it again.

"Warning: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify the the current settiong of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0"

I don't know how to check this, and even if I did I don't know what it means other than something isn't working. I have only had this problem the last three days.

Hombre: This has been puzzling me as it hasn't occurred on my system. I made a change that I think fixed it, if anyone else receives this, please contact me via email. Thanks!

Along the same lines. I'll be writing a post or reading something and the page automatically re-directs itself to a blank page. I hit the back button once or twice to get back to the home page. I remained logged in the whole time tho. The URL for the blank page is https://www.clubhombre.com/blank.php?nopop=1 if that helps. TIA

Harry

This problem appears to affect few people, I am not certain why. I can disable the auto-refreshing on an individual basis as I have the two accounts above. The drawback is that after a set period of time (not sure how long) your username and authorization will be "forgotten" and you may receive an error if you try to post or go to certain pages. To avoid this, you should always log out when you step away from the computer and compose your messages in a text editor or word processor and cut and paste. Failure to do so may result in the loss of everything you wrote.

If you need auto-refreshing disabled, please email me at hombre@clubhombre.com

I don't know if this is the same problem or not, those posts are three years ago.

But I just wrote a fairly lengthy PM, went to sent it and got a "cookie not present" type message. I signed in again, then got a blank page and lost the whole letter in the process.

Okay, I got interupted in the process of writing the message, and I suppose the system logged me out, but should signing back in have to lose my message? I've lost posts this way in the past as well.

Is the only way to prevent this problem to write posts or messages somewhere else then cut and paste to the message box?

Losing a long post is frustrating and time consuming.
