Good afternoon. RT here.

Here's a question for you guys... I can't believe that I never dealt with this before: I am looking to set up future trips to Peru, and Kayak has an itinerary for $25 less than if I book it directly on Copa.

What am I giving up by buying from Kayak? The $25 won't make or break me, but I'd rather not pay it if I don't have to, all things being equal. Thanks.

Kayak is wonderful. I don't think you are giving up anything because they redirect you to the website where you make the booking.
