Departure: There is a departure tax of $27 US due at the airport prior to entering the gate area. Fees may be paid in colones, US dollars, or by Mastercard.

LODGING RECOMMENDATIONS

Hotel Plazas de Las Americas: The price is right. Great Location in North Cali in a safe neighborhood; large rooms, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some minor things in disrepair and in some rooms, you can hear the traffic.
Latin Best B7B: (North, in La Flora)

Aparta Hotel del: Rio (North)

P4P RECOMMENDATIONS

Flores Frescas: A bar with a seating area that surrounds a small dance floor. Usually about 1 or 2 lookers out of a total of about 20-30 girls working there. The building and facilities are old.
Faraon and Faraon del Norte: These are two bars that are adjacent to each other (used to be one bar). Faraon Del Norte (FDE) is the larger bar with lots of sofas. Both bars have girls are in bikinis and as soon as you are seated they will come to you to introduce themselves. There are usually about 30 girls on a given night at FDE and about ½ that number at Faraon next door. There are rooms upstairs, which are kind of old and dirty.
Kaliente Club: More like a casa located in a residential area. The casa has a cheesy waiting area with sofas and candles where the girls will come out one-by-one to introduce themselves to you. They have decent rooms upstairs or you can take out. Not too many girls here but usually a couple of hotties if you get lucky.
Avenida Sexta Clubs: Great place for eyecandy and non-pros if your Spanish is good enough. The clubs are packed on the weekends with rich young singles. Some freelancers working the streets.
