I remember back in the early 2000's there were lots of discussions on this site about getting cars in Germany with navigation systems, but then also getting the navigation systems to work.

In 2007, I made this instructional video, but never got around to posting it.

It probably won't apply to most newer models of cars and this stuff always changes. But it was fun to make. And I recently came across it while going through files on my computer. So here it is for your enjoyment.

And I can't wait for the pending criticism of the musical selections. Ironically enough, Youtube says the video is blocked in Germany due to the music I set it to.

Below is the overview of the panel. When I compiled the video, I forgot to add this screen. So it will say something like, "And here is an overview of the panel" but it won't be there.
