Golden Key is a nightclub at Overtoom 294. Overtoom is located southwest of the city center, just north of Vondelpark. Golden Key is on the north side of the street approximately half-way down the street. You can get there by tram by taking line 1 west (away from the city center) and getting off at the J.P. Heijestraat stop (after the Overtoom stop).

Golden Key has a website at http://www.clubgoldenkey.nl/. There is very little information provided. Hours are 8pm-4am Mon-Sat and 9pm-4am Sun. Other than that, the only usable information is phone number 020-612-40-78 and email address info@clubgoldenkey.nl. The website mentions you can get there by taxi, you do not want to do this as they will pay the driver a commission and raise your price.

Of the three "upscale" nightclubs I visited, this one had the most people there, although I only know that because I saw them leaving (about six middle-eastern guys). I refused to go in since they wanted 70 euros (included three drinks) for a cover charge and it would have been an additional 250 euros for an hour with one of their women. I was unimpressed with the selection at Club Crystal and later unimpressed with the selection at Ria's, so I'm fairly certain that was the best decision. On top of that, I had read of the place receiving poor reviews.
