Asmara is a massage parlor/brothel located at Willem De Zwijgerlaan 70 to the west of the city center. You can get there by taking tram line 13 or 14 to the Willem De Zwijgerlaan stop and walking north up the street. Asmara will be located on the right side at the corner of the next street.

Asmara's website is at http://www.asmara.nl/. Hours listed are 10am to midnight every day. Prices are 75 euros for 30 minutes and 100 for 60 minutes. Services included body to body massage, covered bj, and sex. The website mentions 69 is available for an additional 50 euros with the hour option.

The website mentions a staff of 31, but only four women were available when I visited early Sunday afternoon. All four women were acceptable for the price with two I considered attractive.

My experience at Asmara wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. The women could have been more attractive and the service could have been better, but it's possible I just made a bad choice and showed up too early. I would have liked to have returned, but I didn't have very much time in Amsterdam and the window prostitutes were very attractive and made it harder to session with women from other places.

Man, I did a session at Asmara 12-13 years ago. I didn't think the place was too bad, for Amsterdam.

I've had about a dozen programs in Amsterdam over the years, and none rate any higher than mediocre.

slightly off topic, but i think the best way to find a decent gal in ams is do the window shopping. pay for the 15-20 minute program as a test run (the lowest price option). go through 4 or 5 gals in your first day or two. you'll likely find one or two that are worth seeing again. then step up and pay for a longer session with those gals.

i still dream about three of the girls i met in ams. an italian, a german, and a slovak. they were fantastic and i was able to find them again on return trips (this was 1998-2003). before the euro, i paid 250 guilder ($100usd) and got as much time as i wanted (one load only though, but that took alot of time after 6+ heineken !!!). then the euro came along and they increased the standard pricing for the girls at the same time. however, that only impacted the short time rate. you could still pay 100E and get all positions with somewhat unlimited time. these girls were definitely a 10 on the looks scale and i'd give a 9 on performance. i'm not a fan of anal but i know the slovak was ready for this if desired.

I agree that is a good strategy for overall value, but one is likely to get at least one dud. On my recent trip, I only sessioned with three window prostitutes. One was great, but the other two were far poorer than I am accustomed to from other countries.

I'll still return to Asmara. I'd like at least a little variety but the nightclubs are far too expensive and the selection at Jan Bik is dismal. The small brothels like Park 118 might be reasonable options, but that's the only one I found and only one prostitute was available at the time. In fact, with the exception of Asmara and Club Crystal, none of the brothels or nightclubs I visited had more than a few prostitutes available at the time I visited. It could have just been bad timing, though.
