Just got back from Spain, France, Italy two week trip. Flew into Barcelona & staying for one night in hotel on the Ramblis, the crowded tourist street. British couple told me 6 cruise ships unloaded that day so Barcelona was packed. The only action your going to find in Barcelona other than pricey massage parlors or incall woman is La Rambla. This street is like the strip in Las Vegas. La Ramble street runs from the south end at the Christopher Columbus monument to the park on the north end. The east La Rambla street is called Rambla De Caputxins is is crowded with tourists and young Nigerian streetwalkers aggressively soliciting the tourists which I had yet to see a tourist accept. The west La Rambla street is completedly quiet & deserted. Walk up to the very top or North & start walking in the alleys & you will find the streetwalkers there. I avoid the aggressive ones. I saw a Latina girl with huge breasts in a tube top & jeans sitting on a curb, I came up & said how much, she said 30 Euros. She walked me about 20 feet to a locked metal door & up flight of stairs to a small room (no charge for room). It was a quick 5 minute CBJ and lay, I told her I would give 50 Euros not to rush & she agreed. I asked her nationality & she said she was Morrocan. She refused BBBJ which is good, which shows she is clean. Be careful in this area... I was walking out & a guy who seemed high or intoxicated said hello in english & I said Hi & put out my hand to shake, then he started patting down my cargo shorts, I pushed him away & started jogging away but he did not follow. I knew he was trouble because he already had a cut below one eye as if someone already punched him out.

Locations: at night after 10 pm or so they start walking around the Rambla, or stand by the Peep show club (until it closes at 2am and then this group walks also) or before that time and late at night you can find them on the Carrer St Pau between carrer roblador and rambla raval, also they line up carrer roblador. There is a group (mostly africans) that hangs by carrer d'hospital and la rambla as well. In the afternoon you will only see them around Carrer roblador, the pickings are very slim to none in aftenoon...the good stuff started appearing around 7 or so with most around 10, the latest I found one was around 6am.

I stayed in Las Ramblas several years ago and saw lots of action. I was back a few weeks ago and went to find it and to my disappointment it appeared to be fully of tourist bars and restaurants. I didn't see ANY action.

Maybe I was in the wrong place?
