If price is critical to you, Eastern Europe and Russia are the better places. Border towns to Western Europe have the best of both worlds. Amsterdam, Barcelona and Paris may also be better. But UK is full of opportunities. You have a lot of explanations to do if you visit Eastern Europe or Amsterdam, but no questions asked if you go to London.
