Alexander Block is a mid sized boat/ship moored to the bank of the Moscow river, and sitting on pilings. Most of the boat is taken up by a casino, but some part of it is also a strip joint, where some of the ship's guest rooms have been converted to short time rooms.

The general concept is similar to the infamous Manhattan Bar in the Zona Norte, with some exceptions. Number one, all waiters are female, tall, and not wearing much clothes. Number two, the dancers go to the room ($100 for 'sex massage'). Lap dances are 100 rubles, for a real short time. Number three: the girls dance nekkid.
Number four, the girls are tall and beautiful, no dogs like at Manhattan.

The downers are: some of the chica drinks are wildly expensive, fruit juice can be as high as $23 a pop. Also, there doesn't seem to be a mechanism to have the girls sit with you, except if you buy them expensive drinks or if they like you. This basically means that you are forced to sit without a chica for extended periods until you either get a lap dance, or you pick one to go to the room.

Secondly, no making out on the couches like at MB. Whatever we may say to complain about the high cost of chica drinks and the pesky waiters, the chicas at Manhattan are very accomodating.

Last note, one wealthy Russian woman came into the bar, presumably with her boyfriend, and then proceeded to buy lots of lap dances.
