I spent some time in Central Athens and here's some pointers for all of you.
First off, AVOID any brothels / houses with the red/white lightbulbs.
They are legal (registered) with the govt and provide awful service.
SP/escorts/agencies are also a rip off. 80-90 euros for around 15-20 minutes of service. If you're still a glutton for punishment -- working talent can be found via Athens News under Escorts/etc.
You want to hit MP's and they're all over Athens.
Ask a cabbie or find someone to translate the massage ads in the local papers.
Walk in and you'll have a fishbowl or the girls will line up. No obligation.
Just for the massage, probably around 50 euros, starting.
Full service is available (usually for 100), just ask the girl when you're alone.
Please note the price usually changes depending on the girl, even if its in the same parlour.
Anal, S/M and role playing depends on the girl and on the "pimp" lady or "yiayia".
The yiayia of each MP will tell you what the girl provides.
Once the deal is done, you get a private room with a bed and off you go. Sometimes, there is a girl outside talking in greek. If that happens, she's telling your girl to hurry up and get him off. It only happens if they know you're a non-greek.
They're scattered in the city center and the suburbs. I've been recommend the north suburbs - Ekali. Kifisia etc and Kolonaki.
For SC's, hit a cabbie at night, tell him what you want to go to "paraliaki" to see some SC's and ask for suggestions.
And quite frankly, we're idiots in North America. Tons of milage here. Lots of grabbing anywhere on her and she has no problem groping you back. You'll end up with one hell of a lap dance.
Most girls will be eastern euro or greek in massage parlors. SC and escort agencies tend to only have eastern euro girls.
I wouldn't endorse Athens as a sex dest. The exchange on the Euro is a killer and the industry here is more tailored towards locals.
However if you're here on a business trip or vacation, try it out. The girls are so damn beautiful.
Currency exchange can be found at http://finance.yahoo.com/m3?u

There doesn’t seem to be anything like “World famous babes” (Manchester, England) in Greece. I have lived in Greece for two years now and a classy establishment is hard to come by. The problem is that the industry really does mainly cater for the locals and is doing very nicely thank you. They do not rely on visiting custom. The Greek culture has always included the use of professional women, and this activity is passed down from father to son with no embarrassment. It is just not spoken about outside of male circles.
Having said that, the industry is thriving with fresh talent from places like Albania, Bulgaria, FYROM and the Ukraine, producing some of the hottest liaisons I have ever had.
Although Greece is getting some bad press from the EU over so called slavery, I have never met anyone who looked unhappy or unhealthy. These women including the Greek girls are stunning.
Anyway I am going to endeavor to “fill in the gaps” by adding new posts so that you can avoid the proverbial minefield out there if you don’t know what you are doing.

I am going to start with the basic brothel. These establishments are found in Filis Str. Just off Victoria metro station. They can be identified by the “white” bulb outside the front door. As you enter you will usually see a queue of men sitting in a waiting area. The house consists of a number of very shabby bedrooms and one or two girls. The yia yia or pimp will approach you in the waiting area and tell you how much (normally between 20-30 euro) for a basic BJF. The service is poor and rushed, but if you want a “quickie” I think it is a fair price, and all the girls I have seen always insisted on a condom. One word of warning, some establishments only caters for Greek. So as long as you are prepared for the yia yia yelling “only Greek” at you and showing you the door as you fumble through your Greek language book, it shouldn’t be a problem. It’s never bothered me; I find it quite funny actually.
Now there are some establishments that look after the foreign custom with no problem. These are in Zinonos str. Athinas Str. and Solonos all just off of Omonia metro station. It is exactly the same setup as Filis str. but I was not recommended these, as they were not “legal” establishments, implying that the girls are not checked regularly as in Filis Str. but I have not been there to see so I really don’t know. Maybe I will take a trip down there to check it out.

Nemesis9, I don't know how much things have change in Greece but, when me and some guys went there years ago they would show us the door and say (NO AMERICANO JUST GREEK BOYS)it didn't matter how much $$$ the guys would wave at them they just didn't service Americans.
I went later that night by myself speaking only spainish and broken greek and I was able to enter many houses and I seen many girls without any problems, I laugh and told one girl when I was finish that I was a American the goodlooking blonde just put her hand over my mouth and said, PLEASE don't say that again or anymore or she would have a lot of problems with her boss.
At the time the prices was GREAT it came out to below $13.00 USDs.

KidCisco, I am not sure about the past but now there is only Filis str. that you would have a problem with. The other areas around Athens provide a service for all visitors. I think that there has been a massive influx of girls recently (from the borders) and this may account for the change in attitude.
What I will say is that having read some posts about other destinations, in my opinion Greece has very little to offer the "Romance" traveller. There doesn't seem to be any well organised, fair priced, modern, alluring establishments anywhere. What Greece needs is a nice Gentlemans club, not a seedy strip joint/brothel (not that i'm knocking the strip joint/brothel) It's just that sometimes it's so difficult to sort out an evenings entertainment, you just never know what your going to get!
I don't think it's the attitude anymore that is killing the American tourist, it's the appauling exchange rate!
Maybe I should just come and visit you guys at the Blue Marlin!

It has just come to my attention that Athens has 200 legal brothels.
Why the hell isn't there more information on Athens? My goodness! 200 legal brothels with over 5000 registered prostitutes!
I am surprised Bush hasn't boycotted the Summer Olympics and condemned the Greek government for promoting prostitution yet. Someone better let him know about this.

Beware of the clip bars! Year's ago when sightseeing, I met a Korean guy in Athens on business who got ripped over $700 on inflated charges at a bar!
