Utrecht is a small, industrial city about 45 minutes southeast of Amsterdam. Although there is not really any tourist attractions in Utrecht, there is a well developed red light district on the Zandpad. This is a canal area of about two blocks in length where the ladies all live in houseboats.

There are about 40 boats, each with two rooms (separate entrances). The most I ever saw was about two-thirds of the rooms lit up (some apparently only work during the day and some at night, but since the ladies live on the boats, the rooms are not shared like in the Amsterdam Red Light District).

Each room has a large picture window with a girl usually sitting on a stool, lounging on a bed, or sometimes dancing illuminated by a red or black light. The appearance of the ladies ranged in quality from 3 to 7s, with a few 8s and one or two maybe even better mixed in. Most of the ladies are older, 25+, and some were probably reaching 40. Many were from Columbia and Germany.

Service is very clinical. BJ is always covered. One lady wanted to use surgical gloves for a hj. 100 Guilder (about $42US in Dec, 2001) buys 15 minutes of half/half. Unlike Amsterdam, the ladies in Utrecht all were nude without requiring negotiations. They would allow touching as well during the bj. Standard was missionary. Any other positions were an extra 50 Guilder. Extra 15 minutes was another 50 Guilder.

Met one little Greek fireball there (8, maybe 105, 5'2"), 3 months into a 4 month stint, who hated the rainy, cold weather, but liked the money. She was the only one who faked things reasonably well and like riding on top.

The most amusing part of the whole scene is the constant stream of vehicles moving at a crawl. The two block stretch of traffic has a turn-around at each end, so the cars mostly circle with the occupants checking on the girls. There was parking on one side of the street, which made it pretty narrow to walk on the other (the side with the boats). Sometimes I drove the loop, and sometimes I parked and walked the two blocks as it was impractical to find a place to park when you spotted someone. There is nothing else on this street, so everyone there is either looking or hooking up. While there is no privacy, especially coming out, everyone there is part of the scene -- no worry about families, neighbors, etc. The area is well patrolled by police who constantly walk up and back along the strip. I never felt unsafe.

Some of the ladies had lots of toys sitting in their window. Others had dominatrix outfits on and whips hanging on their room walls. I expect any fantasy can be had here, but I'm not sure that any would be convincingly played out.

Summary- service is clinical and professional. Negotiate for whatever you explicitly desire. No GFE here, but release is easily obtained. Liked this better than the Amsterdam Red Light District, but does not compare in any way to Thailand. Worth checking out if you are in the area, but not worth any extra effort to get here.

do you know anything about Maastricht ? I'll be there in March and am wondering if I'll have any luck finding an RLD there.

I don't think there is a formal RLD in Maastricht, but there may be a few clubs in the old city. You are so close to Germany, I would drive there for activities. You could also check for Prive House locations that are essentially private houses. There are plenty of those around, though I did not try them.

There is a RLD in Amsterdam (big), Utrecht, Rotterdam, and Den Haag (The Hague). I only visited the first two. There may be others, but they are small. I'd expect to pay more and have lower quality and less selection. There seemed to be plenty of both supply and demand at the larger RLDs.

Driving in Holland is easy (as long as you know how to drive a stick shift and learn the trick to putting the car in reverse -- safety locks). The roads are in great shape and signs to various parts of the country and major sections of the cities are well marked. However, it is very difficult to figure out what street you are on. Even if you do figure it out, in a few blocks the name will change. Invest in some good detailed fold-out maps (skip the books).

Here is my report on a brothel in zeist, a small city some 15 kilometers west of Utrecht

Zeist - 030-6960401 - Huize "More Fun" opening hours 10-21

"More Fun" in Zeist is a brothel above a sex-shop. A rare combination in The Netherlands. The brothel is located at the Van Barneveldtraat. I don’t know the streetnumber but you can phone them at 030-6960401. English is no problem. You enter the shop and go to the counter to ask if there are girls available. The girl behind the counter will direct you upstairs where several girls will introduce themselves to you. The price for 30 minutes is 50 Euro, a real bargain. The last time I went to ‘More Fun’ I choose Daniella, a girl with long black hair and brown eyes. Some of the girls that introduced themselves were really old and ugly. Daniella wa the only one I was interested in, the looks were good but she also made a luke apprearance and she didn’t seem to be very interested. We went to a room on the second floor. The room was clean and neat but also small and the lighting was bad. Daniella told me she was from Italy but given her looks and accent I think she was from Eastern Europe. She remained dressed and seated for quite a while, finishing her sigaret, before she finally took her clothes of. My first impression unfortunettely was right. She sucked like a robot and let me fuck her without showing any passion. To my own surprise I had to hold back already during sucking to avoid coming early. I think it was my mood that night rather than her looks or her behaviour that made me so arroused. I general I think that it is better to avoid prostitutes from East Europe in Holland, be it in brothels (rare) or in red light districts where they usually work. They can look great but having sex wit them often turns out to be a disappoint. Maybe the are forced to work as prostitutes in the Netherlands, most of them for sure do not enjoy their work and are only in it for the money. I prefer Dutch girls. Of course the work to earn money to but since they have lots of other options to earn money you can assume that they also enjoy the work and that they choose to do it by free will. The previous time I went to "More Fun" I slept with a Dutch girl. I forgot her name and she told me that she would stop working for a while. Sex wit her certainly was a lot better than with Daniella. If you choose an Eastern European girl check out her mood first. If she answers you like a robot you can be pretty sure she will fuck like a robot to.
