On the subject of Russian women, I went on the internet a couple of years ago after a divorce (following a long marriage) and was astounded by the beauty offered. Since I'm middle-aged I ignored the 20 somethings and concentrated on women in their late 30s and 40s. Extraordinarily beautiful and well presented, although frequently wearing getups that we would call dated. I emailed back and forth with several, met a few in the USA, and spent several days in Istanbul with one, as well as about a dozen spectacular P4P girls.
They all told the same melancholy story: Russian men have been completely defeated by the fall of communism, a society in which everyone was told what to think, to do, etc. When it came time for them to fend for themselves, as every westerner must do, they simply collapsed into alcohol. There are an estimated 40,000 deaths from alcohol poisoning each year in Russia, compared with 400 in the USA, and this does not count the deaths from chronic alcoholism. The life span of a Russian man has been declining and now is 58. The overall population is also declining, and Putin has recently offered the equivalent of a bounty for new children.
Hence the Russian women divorce their men and, usually with a child or two, flood the internet seeking to escape. Over and over I heard the same story.
For the younger ones, becoming natashas in Europe or Turkey is a reasonable way to make money. The per capita income in Russia is $9800 which ranks it 97th in the world. This number is scewed by the immense fortunes made by the oligarchs, who have plundered the assets of the country, and the huge numbers of rural poor who make far less than $1000 per year, and who are difficult to count.
A good looking natasha in Istanbul generally makes $150 for ST and so can easily make a thousand or so for a week. At the Istanbul airport you'll see dozens of them lined up for flights to Kiev, Moscow, etc. to take home money to support their families and buy homes. And believe me, they deliver value for the money.
Another thing that several of them mentioned to me after sessions, and a topic which is explored in a recent book, is that so many millions of the better Russian men were killed in the gulags and World War 2 that the survivors were the skulkers, criminals, and losers. Many of them think that there's nobody left worth having.

Heron33,
Interesting observation. After five trips to Russia I have come to the same conclusion. If you look to see who controls the rising entrepreneurial class in Russia, it's all young computer geeks under 30 and women. It's strange mix. I have spend more than one session with a Russian girl when the pillow talk becomes melacholy and they express their #1 concern - finding a Russian man who's not a drunk. It's a gross generalization but it's probably accurate. I met two ladies in their late 30's near Pushkin Square in Moscow last June in a bar called Republika. One was the owner and the other ran a riverboat dinner tour company. We drank till the wee hours after they finished doing the books and they complained about how their husbands were always drunk. One said that her husband was so drunk that he can't stay sober enough to fuck her. So being the good samaritan I am....... No, seriously - it's a real problem in that country. No wonder the price of mongering is so high - they are tryng to make the money back in one generation!
