I never observed any p4p action in La Romana, even at clubs. Not to say you can't find any, or pick up a non-pro. I took my Mother on the trip so pretty much remained low key, however, ended up picking up the tour director, a model from Houston working pt-time for the tours.

More advice: Get familiar with this website at least enough to know that you should not have posted your question under TripReports. You'd find a better place to post. Also, you might realize that if you want help, you could find the guys that have some DR experience and PM (private message) them with your requests for advice and phone numbers. You'd have to be a little more revealing of yourself, so that you don't seem like a dork.

KID, Find a good cab driver, promise him a little bonus if he can take you to some good spots. There's action everywhere there. If you cant bring girls back to your room, you can always get a love motel. They are pretty cheap. Discotheques always worked for me...JR

The 1st thing you should know is that hotel is not girl friendly. Close by is the Riviera hotel that is girl friendly but it's not on the beach.

In a pinch though La Romana has excellent short time love motels. Even accessible by taxi if you are not driving.

There was a bar owned by an Italian guy that faces the main road but has a nice open patio facing the beach.. Forget the name but like a poster above said, ask the taxi drivers for some assistance.

A lot of freelancers hung out their at night.

Afunny thing in La Romana is the car washes. They always have a bar lounge attached to them and you can hang with the bar girls that work there. Some agree to meet with you after work.

There is a Fancy night club strip/joint in La Romana that was closed on a Sunday I was there but some of the girls live on premis and the night guard set us up in the back patio and caleed down 5 girls to join us. All were available for take out.

Then there is a not so fancy strip club that has some decent girls. Mostly locals that never look too friendly.

Sorry I no longer remember the names of the strip joints but like I said, the taxi drivers know the places and La Romana is not all that big so taxi fair won't kill you.

BTW-Boca Chica is not far away and after dark that is an excellent place to party and pick up chicas at the discos. Also almost all the waitresses and barmaids in the restaurants will meet with you after their shift.

The food by the way in Boca Chica is fantastic. The main strip features authentic German, Chinese and Italian cuisine.
