Gimnasio Bar Privado, or GBP, is a budget brothel located on the second floor of the Plaza Guridy building at Avenida 27 de Febrero #238. It's about four blocks near east of the Unicentro Plaza and Super Mercado Nacional at the intersection of 27 de Febrero and Avenida Abraham Lincoln. I had read that you shouldn't ask a taxi to take you directly there or you would have to pay more. One of the comments recommended being dropped off at Arismendy Motors next door, but that seemed real weird and I needed cash so I just had the driver drop me off at the Unicentro Plaza where I knew there would be a well-funded ATM. The ride was 200 DOP from the colonial district. The walk from Unicentro to GBP wasn't bad at all.
The GBP lobby is very small, I think you could fit maybe fifteen people in here before it started to get uncomfortable. The price for a session is 1000 DOP for one lady or 1500 DOP for two.
I had lots of positive comments about GBP and had my own positive experience here, but I wasn't that impressed. The price was certainly right and I had several doable ladies to choose from, but the number of ladies available and top prospects fell below the standards I generally look for.
I recommend GBP and will return in the future, but I personally prefer a number of other places, even though they are three times as expensive.
