Doll House is a strip club located on the Malecon (Avenida George Washington) about 15-20 minutes walk west of Avenida Pasteur. It's between Avenido Maximo Gomez and Avenida Alma Mater, a little to the west of the Hilton Santo Domingo and the popular Italian restaurant Vesuvio.
In order to enter, I had to pay a cover of 400 DOP, but got that credit in drinks, which ended up being two beers. This strip club is supposedly populated with foreign strippers from different countries in South America and perhaps elsewhere, but I didn't speak with any to confirm. I was not impressed with this place, but I also came on a Sunday night so it might have been better other nights, Sundays anywhere in Latin America tend to be slow if the location is open at all.
On the Sunday I went, there were only about 10 ladies, but none of them were exceptionally attractive as I was expecting. None of them looked dark or Dominican, they mostly looked Caucasian. I did appreciate their bodies, which tended to be curvier and enhanced, but I don't think everyone would. Legs and asses tended to be larger and more muscular. Some of the asses in particular reminded me of dancers asses I'd seen in Argentina clubs. I think some guys would find these asses...intimidating...
Given that it wasn't busy, I was surprised at the time it took the waiters to take my order, serve my first beer, notice I wanted to order another, and serve my second beer. I wasn't that surprised that they weren't that attentive because they were so focused on a couple other parties, but I was really surprised how long it took them to fulfill my bottled beer orders.
I didn't ask about prices, but I had read that private dances could be had for 500 DOP and that takeout was possible for $200 USD. I wasn't about to pay that much for any of the ladies that were available.
I would like to visit Doll House again on a Friday or Saturday night, but for the time being I can't recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of beautiful ladies that can be had in Gazcue for half the price or less, especially when you consider additional costs such as cover, taxi, drinks, and the tip you know you'll be asked for.
