I'm seriously considering a trip to Dominican. Never been there before but it looks and sounds like fun place
My question is. what percentage of the girls are Latino in Dominican? From the photos on this site seems there is a mixed bag. What city or party locations would be best for finding Latin girls? or maybe I should I just go to Costa Rica or Brazil? Dominican is such a close flight from Miami so I thought about checking it out.
Ive been traveling to Mexico and SE Asia for many years. So I am an experienced Monger.

Which photos do you not think are not Latina? Working ladies in the Dominican Republic are probably at least 95% Latina and from the DR. About the only exceptions in DR venues are probably Dollhouse and Foxys in Santo Dominigo, maybe some other high end stripclubs, too, but Dollhouse is the only one I think that's popular.

Another exception are the all-expense paid trips/retreats where the ladies are recruited from other countries, but I would avoid those, they are WAY overpriced.

For the DR, Sosua has typically been the most popular place, but with recent crackdowns at their brothels, it's almost all freelance action now. If your major concern is cost, that's where you should go. Santo Domingo is better in terms of better looking ladies in my opinion, but it is more expensive.

Both Costa Rica and Brazil are better options in my opinion in terms of attractiveness of ladies, but both are also more expensive, especially Brazil. Brazil does get really high marks for looks and service, though.

I think Jetblue is or used to be the most popular airline for hobbyists, but you'd have to fly from Fort Lauderdale. Spirit is probably cheaper if you do it right (lots of added fees if you do it wrong) but you also have to fly from Fort Lauderdale.

If you travel a lot you should really be part of a frequent flyer program. I always fly to those places on American Airlines, usually through Miami. Individual flights are more expensive, but benefits and cost spread across multiple flights are a much better value.

You mention that the SD ladies are better in looks than the Sosua girls.

What do you do think of Santiago as a monger venue? Also in terms of non monger things to do as well as look of ladies etc.

I stop by Santiago on occasion for a day or two for variety and will do so again in the future for more research into the car washes as reported by Camaro (check trip reports) but for most people I don't think Santiago is a very good place to visit to hobby.

Everything in Santiago is spread out so you'll need to take taxis all the time unless you rent a car. Out of all the Latin America places I've been, some of the DR taxi drivers have been among the worst. I've never rented a car, but have read many people advise against it because of police corruption and liability issues.

Not including the car washes, which I've never been to and are supposedly quite a few in number, I think there are only a few well known places, Casablanca, Ilusions, and Pasion. I'll usually find at least a few very attractive ladies among those places.

There's not much to do otherwise in Santiago, either. Santo Domingo has city stuff and some historical landmarks while Sosua has beaches and water activities. Santiago is in the middle and isn't very interesting.

You might consider flying into one city and flying out another, and/or perhaps doing a coast to coast trip with a stop in Santiago via bus. Both Camaro and I discuss bus travel in our reports and I've done the coast to coast a couple times. The flight is the same price and the bus travel is inexpensive and less than six hours coast to coast. You could be flexible on your Santiago time, but I doubt you'd stay more than a couple days.

I'll go out on a limb here and assume that Mundo means, what percentage of Dominican girls are black vs. white/mixed. I've only been to the DR once, and won't ever go again, but from what I saw in Santo Domingo, it's a fair mix. Plenty of "regular" latinas, plenty of "black" latinas If you go to Sosua, it's probably 95% black.

As to airlines, feel free to check ITA or Orbitz and see what airlines fly where. Its not that hard.

Wow Catcony I know you are an experienced monger from what I have read, but are you really going to judge an entire country on one city and one bad trip? If you have never been to Sosua you should go and you are incorrect about it being 95% black, not that that would bother me but that has not been my experience. I also enjoy BB's and FOD. If I have only a few days for a short trip I think Black Beards is the best venue period. No hassles and its worry free.

There's zero chance of me going back to the DR. If that somehow rises to 1%, then there's zero chance of me going to Sosua.

From the guys I know who regularly visit SE Asia and have then gone to the DR not a one would return to the DR and will tell a Asia monger you will be disappointed in the DR.

Since I have been to SE Asia, Brazil, Colombia, CR, including Dominica Republic I would agree that it is not the best location to monger in comparison.

However, I would say the girls in Sousa - looks wise - are relatively similiar in the terms of freelancer you would find in Rio. Many light skinned, some mulata's, black's, white.

For me mongering in DR is not about looks, as I can find plenty that interest me, but comparable speaking with other countries the service levels are generally nowhere as high, plus the rip-off potential high.

Now, I love SE Asia and Brazil. But SE Asia from Miami is a 30 hour trek and 9 hours from MIA to Rio. Cost is significantly higher - Is it worth it, sure is....but for the first timer who does not know better and has nothing to compare it to, DR is not bad - 1 1/2 flight from MIA, relatively cheap trip overall. Also, for a 3 day long weekend trip the short distance simply can't be beat.

I would say I have had about 50/50 good versus bad experience in the DR. Again, what I would consider bad experience has increased the more I got to know SE Asia.

Now, if one is hell bound to go to DR - AA is direct to POP, Puerto Plata. From what I have seen they usually have the best rates and most importantly direct flights. I have rented a car in POP many times and never had trouble - driving is easy and diretionally it is easy to navigate (there really is only one road connecting Puerto Plata, Sousa, and Cabarette - which is all the places I visit on my trips).

Many more fights into Santo Domingo and also cheaper overall as a result.

If I have the option and time, as well as money - skip DR and go straight to Thailand or the Philippines.

Skip DR and jerk off. Save your money for anywhere else.
