I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to
Santo Domingo an average of 1 time every 6 wks for the past 4 years. Have only spent one weekend
in Puerta Plata;

Would like to know where the "mongers" go for fun
in the area. I know all the "HOT SPOTS" within Santo Domingo, in fact..we have shown the guides
some of the nice "Puta" friendly places..

Can...some of you give me an idea? I will be in
the area from 22 APRIL till 30....Looking for new
talent. Don't care for "titty bars"...massages, and playing of those lil lap dance games. Also
the recommendation of a hotel that is "puta" freindly (or guest can be allowed in) RATES ??

Sosua is one of the most popular places (just outside of PP. If you do a search I know that JimmyDR has some posts in the archives.

The palace hotel in sosua is a very popular place especially for a short stay.

When guys say that the Dominican Republic has darker, larger women, don't believe them. The women are beautiful -- and cheap.

I spent five days in Puerto Plata in June and I am ready to go back in August. Tips:

* You need a car -- without a car, you are stuck ridng on the back of some guy's motorcycle, where hundreds of people die every year

* Hit the regular bars, most owmen are available for about $60-$80 per night...

* exchange your money in the DR..the exchange rate is phenomoneal

* find a friend to show you around...invaluable to have a trustworthy local companion

Plus, I heard thw women in Santiago (1 hour away) are even more beautiful. DR is the place to be.

Thinking about a DR trip around February or March 06. Currently stuck in Baghdad on duty at the moment, and I will return shortly after the year's end. I'll have about 18 months of frustration (on tour, no pussy) to relieve, and I'm looking for it all! Any suggestions or interest?

As I am heading out of this forsaken country they call Iraq by tomorrow, I have already made travel arrangements. I'll be in Puerto Plata by 30 January. I won't be leaving the DR until 10 February, so if anybody here is planning on being around during these dates, I'd love to share some brews and a few adventures.

DM, I'd definitely be interested in hearing your take on POP. I've been going down over 2 years and it has been on a steady decline. So much so that I'm seriously starting to think about taking a break and head to other locations.
