Galactic Club is located on a street that runs parallel to Avenida Colon. I believe it's the first and only major street to the west of Avenida Colon in Puerto Plata. Check my Puerto Plata Map Red 3 to see where it is. I'm about 90% sure on this location as I had trouble understanding the name of the street from people nearby. The first map I consulted had the street titled "Espigon Nuevo", but two different people I showed the map pointed to two completely different places. A better map I consulted had the name "Avenida Penetracion Portuaria". This might be what the others were trying to tell me. The cross streets were Avenida Jose Ginebra to the south (Avendia Circunvalacion Sur) and Via Ferras to the north (small cross street).
I actually did not make it in during operating hours, but I was able to take up a lady that was standing out front during the day. There is a doorway on the right side of the bar which leads up a staircase to small short time rooms where some of the ladies live. They are tiny, but functional.
I paid a total of 1500 pesos ($42 US), 1000 to the lady and 500 for the use of the room.
I didn't get a chance to see a full lineup at Galactic, but was told by two separate taxi drivers that the talent was comparable to El Bohen and Cristal without the price gouging.
Galactic will likely be my first and preferred stop on my next visit to Puerto Plata.

Hi Vlad. RT here.
GREAT Comprehensive report on the North Coast! I work there sometimes, and it's great to read about my second 'home' while in Florida.
It's a good thing you hit the Galactic Club during off-hours. The entire Dominican Republic is LOUD, but it actually hurt to sit inside the Galactic Club while they were playing music.
As to the talent, there are some pretty girls there and the price is good. However, the lighting in the club leaves much to be desired, so you have to check your purchases closely before you buy.
Thanks again for the great reports.
