I'll be returning to DR to visit the south coast, but will be spending my first and last nights in Santiago.
On my previous trip, I visited the following places:
Hotels:
Hodelpa Centro Plaza
Colonial
Nightclubs:
Casa Blanca
Ilusion
Pasion
I'll likely checkout Porky's(Riverside) and Diversion this time. Any suggestions on other places to visit in Santiago?

Hi - I am normally a Santo Domingo guy, but will be in Santiago next Sunday night. Of the various clubs CasaBlanca and Porky's are my probable stops. Anybody know if the various clubs are open on Sundays ?

Anyone have info on the Santiago Car Washes?
Are these places set up like a separate bar/lounge next to the actual carwash area? Would it be unusual to arrive at these by foot or taxi, without an actual car to wash?

Vlad...yes, basically just imagine an open air bar that is kinda grafted on to a mid sized car wash operation. Lotsa of waitresses around who will accompany you, but no hanky panky in public.
I think most of them are available for bookings but not on-site. A bar fine might be applicable too.
Not really unusual to arrive via taxi but you do need Spanish to at least chat a bit with the girls.
