The Blue Dolphin Resort provides guest friendly lodging in a great central location in Sosua. It is located just off Pedro Clisante on the south side (Sosua Palace is offset up a dirt road on the north side). You can get a general idea of the location by checking Blue 2 on my Sosua Map.
I was only able to visit for a short time, touring the premises on the last day of my trip to the Dominican Republic, but what I saw of the Blue Dolphin really impressed me.
The grounds were spacious and well kept. They had an activity center with a short time room, pools for swimming, and a full bar with a large lounge area with many chairs. The room I saw was modorn in decor and looked clean and new.
Ladies regularly hang out and are available for "dates". At the time I only saw two, but it was early afternoon.
I met John and Steve, two of the gentlemen that run the place. John was the one that gave me the tour and he was very friendly and helpful. I also met two gentlemen that were staying there, one while at the Blue Dolphin and another at Sosua Palace. Both were very happy with the Blue Dolphin resort.
When I return to Sosua, I will likely stay at a few places for the variety and to see what the other places are like, but my first choice will be Blue Dolphin.

I have been trying to get more info on this place thru the email address listed here and on the website, but I haven't gotten a response for several days. Does anybody know what is the best way to contact this place nowadays? Also, between Blue Dolphin, the Palace, and Europa, which place do you prefer?
Thx.
