Casa Azul
Paraguay #230
esq. Jose Ortega y Gasset
Tel: 567-7303
Mon-Sun: 12pm - 3:30am
Casa Azul, formerly known as Pabitos and Casa Rosada, can be found at on Paraguay near where it intersects with Jose Ortega y Gasset. It is approximately 2 blocks south of Casa Teresa (intersection of Jose Ortega y Gasset and Arturo Logrono) and slightly east up Paraguay on the southern side of the street.
Protocol here is much like most of the other casas and massage parlors in Santo Domingo. You come in, have a seat, then the ladies come and form a semi-circle around you until you choose one.
I believe I paid 2000 pesos ($40 US) for a short time on the premises. I didn't ask about take out.
What set Casa Azul apart from other places was that it had one of the largest and comfortable lobby areas and some of the nicest short time rooms.
There were about 15-20 ladies the two times I visited, and I easily could have went with a few of them. The one lady I did spend time with here was a pleasure to be with, offering DFK, BBBJ, and an otherwise passionate encounter.
If your taxi driver is not familiar with Casa Azul, remember to mention the two other names, Pablitos and Casa Rosada.
Another note, both Casa Azul and Casa Teresa are much farther north and west of most other adult entertainment venues mentioned here.

You pull up to a closed driveway entrance. The gate opens, you pull in, and the gate closes. Sometimes, it seems like there is overkill on the security in the Dominican Republic, but these people live there, so they probably know better than me.
When entering the house there are a few rooms with couches and tables. There were customers sitting here and there with girls. We made our way to the back and sat at the bar. Again, we weren't circled, but the available girls all made it a point to let us know that they were there.
Many of the girls were pretty; none of them were horrible. I knew that I could find someone from here.

I went there last night and it was really slow. Maybe a half-dozen girls at 10:30 PM, I guess the others could have been in the rooms but the parking area was empty so not sure if that was just the usual crowd.
I didn't see anything I liked, same setup as the other casas here except they had on-site rooms. I was quoted DP$3,000 for a short-time with room but was immediately "discounted" to DP$2,500. Rooms looked ok, but none of the girls were worth doing IMHO.

Why do you keep doing this to yourself? You have been to Brazil. You cant backtrack to the minor leagues.
If you were looking for a close destination you should have gone to Havana instead.

Actually I'm having a semi-enjoyable time, certainly better than Costa Rica. But, RTGooch has the place nailed down. Expensive mongering for average quality in a crappy town in an armpit country. I'll do a trip report next weekend to discuss in full.

Again, thanks for the real-time report, something we don't see much of on the board anymore.
You hit the nail on the head. Sounds like a way overpriced destination. Upside is location, location, location for the US adventure traveler.
Looking forward to the TR.

I'm not sure this is something to be proud of, but thanks for the compliment.

The chicas here start out right and the sessions have all gone ok, its just they haven't been properly taught how to treat a client. The owners of the places I'm sure tell them to hit the street 10 seconds after the client busts a nut, which is your standard "if they speak Spanish expect a shitty finish" mantra I've had for years.
The only thing relatively shorter than a Jewish hour is a Dominican two-hour.
Right now I'm ranking the place a notch above Mexico and Costa Rica, which is a low bar to be sure.

RT here. It's not just the hookers, Cat.
With very few exceptions, the concept of customer service does not exist in La Republica Dominicana. Customers -- of any sort, in any industry -- are so few and far between that the idea of 'repeat business' is not even a possibility.
When you can only sell one widget in a day (or week, or month), and no one has ever come back to buy another widget from you, you damn well better get top peso for that one widget you're selling.
Now, I've met a few Dominicans who've 'gotten it', in terms of keeping the customer satisfied and returning. But sadly, I can count the total amount of times this has happened on the fingers of one hand, and I lived there for the better part of two years and probably have 60 Dominican entrance stamps in my passport.
This doesn't make Dominican businesspeople bad people or even bad businesspeople -- just ones who have been trained by experience that milking every possible penny out of a live one is the best way to go. It's just no fun when you're the live one.

I agree, this is the first Marriott property where I've felt an absolute need to lock everything up since I've gotten the "fuck the gringo" vibe from everyone at the hotel.

RT here.
About two weeks ago, I decided to add to the country’s economy and told a taxi driver to take me to Casa de las Modelas. When we got there, it was closed. I didn’t understand why and told the driver, screw it, please take me home. I guess that he didn’t want to lose a commission, so he sold me on going elsewhere, and we wound up at Casa Azul.
They did the standard Dominican lineup, and I was about to shoo them away when I saw Danielia. I have a friend back home who has a thing for girls with braces, and when I stopped staring at her smoking body and got a look at her grill, I called her over.
We chatted while she had a beer. It turns out that she used to work at Casa de las Modelas, but they are closed for renovations (that made sense – there was a guy on duty at the closed casa.) We then discussed her coming to my hotel. I asked what the salida was, and when she told me that it was 3000 pesos, I complained that it was expensive. Danielia knows that she’s a walking advertisement for international mongering, so she just looked at me, ran her hand down her body, and said, “Isn’t this worth 3000 pesos?” My reply of, “Of course it is, but it’s a better value at 2500 pesos,” didn’t get far, and I told her to go change her clothes so we could leave. When the bartender wrote up the sale, I saw that everyone was charging 3000, so the price was the price.
Back at the hotel, Danielia proved to be both a willing model and skilled in bed. Her body was tight and she knew how to put it to good use.
I invited her to stay all night for an additional propina, but she told me that she had to go back after two hours. She was already dressed and sitting on my lap while I burned a CD with her photos when I felt a familiar stirring. I pointed it out to her and told her that we still had some additional time. Without missing a beat or messing up her makeup, she was on her knees and got the job done just as her phone rang, telling her that her taxi was downstairs.
She left with a small tip and gave me her phone number. In a country where I am not enjoying my mongering experiences all that much, my time with Danielia was a pleasure.

RT here. Two weeks ago, I decided that I wasn't interested in the beasts at the Jaragua, so I decided to give Casa Azul another try. The last visit went well, so I hoped that I was on a roll.
The selection at Casa Azul has always confused me. 75% of the girls there - I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. But there's always a couple of nice ones.
I go to the bar and wave away the group that swarms around me. A couple of the, er, not so beautiful ones get a little aggressive, as if I see an ugly girl shaking her humongous ass, I will go for her.
They give up, I look around, and see Karla sitting alone. After a nod, she comes over.
Karla is 19, and says that she has only been in Santo Domingo for a couple of weeks. She is clearly not well-versed in chatting up a customer, but I didn't care. She was cute, and her rack showed great promise.
In the taxi (the club will call for a real one - no tourist ripoff), she's a little friendlier. We get to my apartment, sit down for a drink, and she starts making out with me on the couch. We take a few pictures, and her clothes finally come off. The rack was everything I had hoped it would be. Sadly, no boob photos were allowed.
Things move into the bedroom, and she proved skilled enough to satisfy me (my tastes don't run all that extreme), and was pleasant for the entire time we were together.
Before she got in the taxi, she turned around, put her arms around me, and planted another long, deep kiss. What more can I ask for?
If you have no problem saying 'no' to girls that you're not interested in, Casa Azul is currently an acceptable mongering destination.

RT here. I didn't want to deal with the Gazcue joints Saturday night (Jan. 5), so I headed to Casa Azul at around midnight.
When I got there, I only saw one car in the parking lot, and when I entered, the pickings were thin. Sadly, most of the girls weren't.
I lie -- there was one thin, petite, light-skinned girl with a nice rack, but she showed no interest in working. The other four weren't all that beautiful or rail-thin. I didn't care; I was just looking to bust a nut.
The most aggressive one got the first beer. She would have been acceptable, but 40 seconds into her drink, she told me, "I love you, baby." Please.
Then, she asked me my name three more times and totally un-sealed the deal by giving me a view of her ass shaking at 100 miles per hour to the tune of some annoying song. I sent her away.
Next, the sluttiest one got a beer. I either didn't ask for or forgot her name. She was smart enough not to tell me that she loved me, and she had a big rack. Well, she had a big everything pretty much.
We left, got to my apartment, fondled for a bit, and got down to business. It was pretty unremarkable, and I wouldn't repeat. When she told me that my two hours were up (it was only 1 hour and fifteen minutes), I willingly called her a cab.
She let me take a few photos. The ones below are the most flattering.

Well, hell, RT, she ain't perfect but you could do worse. Since I got home from Lima I would be reduced to nailing gringas if it weren't for my inflatable GF.
Lucky you will be in Peru soon where the choices are pleasing and plentiful. I will be stuck here womanless except for "Windy", my GF with a slow leak.
