This beach is about a half mile long, with bars and restaurants as you can see. You can rent a chair for the day and stay ad long as you want.

Topfotog: At BB's the $40 pays for 1-3 hours depending on you. That time can include just hanging with the Bitch at the bar/pool/whatever before hitting it in your room. Some Bitches will give you a back rub if you want after. You can pay them in USD or Pesos RD. I usually just peel off 2 twenties and send them on their way. If they show me a real good time, I'll tip them maybe 5 bucks or 100 pesos ($3.50). On this trip I'm gonna do a fair comparison of the exchange rate and pay with whatever currency gives me the best deal. BB's exchanges USD for a pretty fair rate just below the street rate. There's a place called Jenny's market nearby within walking distance thats supposed to offer a slightly better rate so I'll stop in there and compare this time. Its not worth taking a taxi into town to exchange money, you'll lose your advantage on the round trip taxi fare even if you share the ride.

Most likely. Last time I was there I was told either $40.00 or 1500 pesos for ST. The best exchange rate on the street at the time, May 2009, was about 35.9 pesos to the USD. BB's paid out 34 pesos at their front desk. I normally paid the Bitches with USD and my bar tab with pesos. The one thing I would stress however is DON'T charge your bar and meal costs to your room. Pay cash as you go to enforce spending discipline and avoid the possibility of "accounting" errors and sticker shock on the way out. Also, every room has a mini bar and the drink prices from the fridge are the same as at their bar so you will need to pay for that only when you leave. I always drank the bottled water and gave out a few beers to the Bitches and it wasn't very much. Finally, don't use your CC there, 20% surcharge applies cause he has to pay govt taxes and card fees. Cash is king here. Pull out you pocket calculator and see how I did. I'll try to send a post when I'm down there in a few days with the latest updates.

No problem Concarne. You'll pay more at BB's for sure but at least you can inspect the Bitches health cards and cedulas that are kept on file there. That's worth something extra I think. The Mamasans will go get their paperwork for inspection upon request. How cool is that! I just did the math from my post above. I would have done better to pay in pesos last trip. Let's see how I do on this trip.
